AMRO SERIES
These models are equipped with specific membranes for seawater, capable of removing up to 99% of salts, and pumps for pressures up to 69 bar. Reverse Osmosis Desalinator to produce fresh water from sea water. These units are mainly intsalled aboard large cruising ship. In this sector Marinco has supplied desalinators from 100 to 1000 m3/day and more, to large cruising ship.

Marinco desalination plants have a pretreatment with products specifically designed for such systems and do not use hydrochloric acid or caustic soda: • They are therefore easier to use. • There is no need for special rooms to store toxic materials. • They offer the best performance. • They increase the production of desalinated water.

We use an additional system for water sterilization based on a mechanical physical system with Ultra Violet: • It increases the lifespan of cartridge filters. • It prevents the formation of bacterial flora in the tubes. • It prevents viruses and bacteria growth, which could decrease the production of permeate.

The systems are designed with a fresh water rinse system using self-produced water: • We don’t use the ship’s storage tank water. • Inlet water is safe (chlorinated water is harmful to the membranes).

Directly on the machine is a tank for washing the membranes: • It’s easy to dose products. • Maintenance is much faster. • It offers control over the entire operation. • The system is more compact and modular.

To follow Green Tech technologies, we have an energy recovery system: • The system is more efficient with a smaller design. • Transportation is less expensive, and assembly is faster. • Management and maintenance costs are lower, and the water produced per cubic meter is cheaper. • It’s a GreenTech technology that respects the environment and improves performance. • The membranes are innovative, and the salinity achieved is optimal, even with the use of nanotechnology. • There is a re-alkalinization system to neutralize the acid solution, based on a physical Green Tech technology.

The machines are fully automatic, facilitating ease of use and improving safety: • They control pressure and manage start and stop. • They manage washing and maintenance. • With PLC and inverters, they manage water production. • All management is through a single command, but it can also be completely manual when needed.

The machine is equipped with the Marinco SDS (self-diagnostic system): • It checks each operation. • It manages alarms and maintenance. • It has onboard digital sensors that can also function in manual mode. • All operations are monitored, such as alarms, water quality, and maintenance, creating a data history. • It can be operated remotely, allowing the desalination unit to be managed from another location (e.g., engine control room). • With the data history, maintenance can be scheduled in advance, and future operating costs can be estimated.
